Overview

This is a traditional Dubrovnik stone villa, built for comfort and with nice inviting interiors. The spacious house has 300 square metres of living space, surrounded by a garden wall. The villa is located in a small village known for its cypress and fig trees, a pretty church, good food and local wine. The village customs have been preserved, and every weekend you will be entertained by local dancers in the traditional costumes, performing their lovely folk dances. This is a lovely retreat, a good combination of rest and action. Five minutes drive from the gorgeous town of Cavtat, 20 minutes from famous Dubrovnik and close to bicycle paths and a few minutes drive to one of the best pebble beaches.

Accommodation

Ground floor

Throughout the spacious ground floor the cream floor tiles and large windows make the interior sunny and light. From the large hallway, which has a three seater sofa, you enter a sitting/dining room, with a huge picture window letting the colour of shrubs and flowers into the room. Two leather sofas and armchairs are clustered around the satellite TV/DVD. The dining table sits 8 people comfortably. Adjacent is a modern kitchen with a fridge/freezer, cooker, dishwasher, coffee maker, cooking utensils and nice tableware. It also has a second dining table and direct access to the garden, terrace and pool area. Other rooms on the ground floor include a pantry, a laundry room with a washing machine, iron and ironing board and a small bedroom/study suitable for children. The villa also has WiFi.

First floor

On the first floor are three more bedrooms, two with double beds and one with twin beds. The bedrooms have wood flooring, air-conditioning and large en-suite shower rooms. All bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.

Outside

The villa is surrounded by a walled garden, filled with Mediterranean herbs, bougainvillea, wines, lemon trees and flowers - a lovely spot to swim, sunbathe and relax. The pool has a stone patio with sun loungers and some parasols. There are two outside covered dining areas, one on the terrace by the kitchen and the second to the side of the villa with a large stone barbecue.

Great summer holiday in Croatia!
“ Everything was great, we were welcomed with the beautiful food spread when we arrived prepared by the host - with wine, bread, selection of cold meats. It was rather late (10pm), but she waited for us at the villa. Villa was very clean, well equipped with everything we needed - even inflatables for kids to play in the pool, plenty of towels, pool towels as well. We had a mid week clean and change of bedding/towels. The host went out of her way to make us welcome and was very responsive for all requests before the travel and even made a cake for our son's birthday. Villa is just as it is on the pictures. Beautiful, well planned house with private sound proof bedrooms & ensuite in each one. It worked very well for our party of 7 adults and 2 kids, plenty of space to play, eat together and relax. Garden is very private and secured so the kids were safe, with grapes all around. Very quite, we were worried about the airport being that close, but planes didn't bother us at all. Amazing holiday overall, Dubrovnik is 15 min drive away, nice little walk in Cilipi itself, we really liked Cavtat and big supermarket is close by. ”

Beautiful!
“ The villa it's very very spacious,clean,secured and it's surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean walled garden and private pool. The shops, town and the airport are only a couple minutes drive, all facilities are easily accessible. By car you can reach city of Dubrovnik and Cavtat really quick. We were worried because the Airport was close, but there was no noise!!! Villa was very clean, well equipped, Wi-Fi excellent and every room it is equipped with Air condition! Lovely owners, extremely welcoming, helpful, with insider tips and advises!!! Five stars! Thanks a lot! ”

Dubrovnik Airport

Dubrovnik Airport is located near the town of Cavtat 19km to the south of Dubrovnik. There are direct flights to Dubrovnik from most European countries and from Philadelphia in the USA.

 

There are bus and taxi services into Dubrovnik centre. A taxi transfer can be expected to cost around 35 to 40 euro one way depending on the time of day and the season and a minibus around 50-60 euros.   A shuttle bus service from the airport to Dubrovnik is 7.5 euro per person each way.
