Overview
This is a stone built villa in the tradition of an Istrian stone farmhouse consisting of 380 square metres of living space.
The villa is situated in a small complex of three other villas which together could sleep up to 34 people. Each villa has its own pool but the main garden and grounds are shared, including a small golf practice area. A wine cellar where you can buy excellent wines is also available.
Accommodation
The accommodation is on two floors plus a basement. On the ground floor is a very large dining area, which is equally suitable for small gatherings and large parties, and a galleried sitting area. Also on the ground floor is a one bedroom apartment. On the first floor is a two bedroom apartment and in the basement area there is a sauna and games room.
Dining and Galleried Sitting Area
On the ground floor is a large dining area with a feature fireplace and facilities for up to 12 people, plus there is plenty of space for additional tables for a larger group. This area also has a bistro style bar area with bar stools, a professional style kitchen and access to the terrace and pool area, so that your party can enjoy the outside too. From the dining room, there is an oak staircase which leads to a galleried sitting area with a sofa and armchairs, satellite TV, HiFi and a WiFi connection. This space is quite cosy for a small group, but can easily become a party room, overlooking the dining room below. This sitting area is a common sitting room for the whole villa, in addition to each apartments own sitting room. Ground Floor Apartment : 1 Bedroom (sleeps 2-4) The apartment has one double bedroom with en-suite shower room, and an open-plan sitting/dining/kitchen living space with satellite TV, a DVD player, HiFi and internet connection. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge with freezer compartment, cooker, hob, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, full set of cooking utensils and tableware. Two additional guests can be accommodated on request. First Floor Apartment : 2 Bedrooms (sleeps 4-6) At the top of the oak staircase is the entrance to the two bedroom apartment. The apartment consists of a kitchen/dining/sitting area, two double bedrooms and a shared shower room. Both bedrooms have oak beamed ceilings and wooden floors. All bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. Two additional guests can be accommodated on request.
Basement
In the basement area is a sauna and a games room that includes an upright exercise bike and table tennis table.
Outside
The villa sits in a large garden which is planted with Mediterranean shrubs such as rosemary, lavender and olive trees and a covered terrace where you can dine al fresco. A lovely pool is surrounded by a stone covered patio and sun loungers and umbrellas are provided. In the shared grounds of the villa there is a small golf practice area and a barbecue area. Each villa has its own parking area.
