Overview
A sweet, rural villa with plenty of grounds and a small vineyard, in an Istrian village 9 km from the blue Adriatic sea. This peaceful villa is arranged all on one floor as a bungalow and has an outdoor dining terrace and a second terrace with a swing seat. Wonderful Istrian towns and beaches of Pula, Rovinj, Labin and Rabac are within an easy driving distance. The central and northern Istrian hilltop towns such as Motovun and Groznjan are recommended for a great day trip, combining history with great food. Wonderful hiking and bicycling paths are all around. The active types will be excited to know that nearby is the adrenaline adventure park Glavani, and a good riding ranch where horses will take you into the sea. There are several excellent scuba diving centres. Grocery store, cafes and restaurant are in the nearby village of Rakalj. The nearest airport is Pula 17 km.
Accommodation
The ground floor is where all the villa accommodation is arranged. The open plan sitting/dining room and the new kitchen have beautiful white floor tiles, leather sofas and armchair, satellite TV. The sofa can be used as an additional bed for 2 extra people. The whole living area is cooled by an a/c unit. The dining table accommodates six persons and in the kitchen there is a small breakfast table. There is also a separate guest toilet with a washing machine. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils and tableware. Off the hallway there are three double bedrooms, each with a double bed, each with a TV and with its own en-suite shower room. Only two bedrooms are air conditioned. The beds have good bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.
Outside
The villa has a huge private garden and a lovely pool (8 by 4 metres), surrounded by 6 sun loungers on a sunbathing terrace. If you play badminton, the owner will provide their badminton set. Under a shady covered terrace you can eat outside, and the barbecue is just a few steps away. Very enjoyable!
