Overview
Villa Azalea is a perfect, large, family, child friendly villa with private pool, catering for large families and travelling groups. The location is amazing, on a hill above the Kvarner Bay, above the small fishing village of Icici (5.5 km) which has become very fashionable. The view of the sea from the villa is stunning and there is plenty of space to have a relaxing holiday, including seven bedrooms and an outdoor area, accommodating 12 people easily plus 2 extra. In total, this luxury villa for rent in Croatia (Istria) accepts 14 people. The south facing villa is semi-detached, and the owner/manager lives in the other part, but there is a fair degree of privacy. It was built in 2010, comprises 270 square metres arranged over two floors. Each floor has its own sitting room, kitchen and dining areas, which is very practical for two families travelling together in this large villa. In addition, the covered outdoor terrace has a long dining table where 14 people can eat together. The whole plot measures 1100 square metres.
The village of Icici has a long pebbly beach, a marina, several restaurants and bars, a supermarket, boutiques and a variety of grocery shops. Within a few kilometres you will find a disco, night clubs, many restaurants, shopping, wellness centre and public tennis courts, various summer events such as dancing, fishermen's fete and concerts. The beach has a netball area, canoes, cafe and you can enjoy water skiing, windsurfing and scuba diving. Rent a bike to explore 40km of nature cycle treks and visit the Ucka mountain national park (8km away). However, the villa itself is so inviting and comfortable and that stunning sea view will keep you in the villa for much of the time!
Accommodation
Ground floor
The lovely, air-conditioned, 30 square metre sitting room opens out onto a large, sea view terrace with a private pool and is furnished with sofas and armchairs, plus TV. An equally large dining room has a table for up to twelve people. The modern kitchen has an oven, a hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster, microwave, and a coffee maker, cooking utensils and tableware. For entertainment there are DVDs, sound system and a PS4 Xbox.
On the ground floor are three double bedrooms and one single bedroom and two shower rooms shared by guests.
Two bedrooms have TVs and double beds each, with two single mattresses, each 80 by 200 cm, joined together. One bedroom has a super king size double bed made up of two mattresses of 90 by 200 cm and a TV. The fourth ground floor bedroom has a single bed 90 by 200 cm. Two shower rooms are shared on the ground floor.
On the ground floor there is a central a/c unit in the open plan living room, kitchen and the dining area and it is recommended that the bedroom doors are left open during the day time.
First floor
The first floor is reached by an outside staircase and has another air conditioned sitting room/dining area of 60 square metres, satellite TV and DVD. There are two double bedrooms, one with a super king size double bed 180 by 200 cm, a TV and a balcony and the other bedroom with two mattresses joined together, each is 80 by 200 cm, TV and a balcony. The third bedroom on this floor is single. These three bedrooms share one bathroom with bath tub and a toilet, and one separate toilet.
On the first floor there is an a/c unit in the open plan living room, including the kitchen and the dining area, also cooling the bedrooms if their doors are open during the day time.
Outside
The covered terrace of 20 m2 is a beautiful area with outdoor sofas, barbecue and twelve sun beds. There is also a lawn area and a swimming pool of 24 square metres, 150 cm deep, with steps leading into the pool. Pool towels are provided and 16 sun loungers are around the pool area. There is also an outside shower, whirlpool, table tennis and children's corner with a slide, sea saw and swing. Children's puzzles and drawing material are also provided. The villa can park six cars.
