OVERVIEW
Very few people have heard of the little place called Nin, in the Zadar region. However, this is the place with several of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Croatia, and a very ancient culture, the first seat of the Croatian kings a thousand years ago. The new villa is located four kilometres from Nin, just over half a mile from a gorgeous sandy beach, and 20km from the regional largest town of Zadar, well worth visiting in its own right.
There are so many beaches in the area, some are wild and peaceful, and some are well set up for children's entertainment with water slides, pools and beachside cafes. The village has several restaurants and cafes, a market, grocery store and plenty of opportunity for water sports nearby. In addition, you can easily visit three major national parks, which are Krka river waterfalls, Kornati islands and Paklenica, all places of extraordinary natural beauty.
The area is also ideal for walkers and cyclists. The villa is newly built and tastefully furnished. It is in a very peaceful location, two miles from the village centre and half a mile from the bus stop for Zadar.
Accommodation
The villa is a bungalow style house, all on one level, the ground floor. The tiled, open plan living room consists of a nice sitting area with a pull-out sofa, an LCD TV, a dining table for six to eight, and a new kitchen equipped with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cooker and hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. All the cooking utensils and cutlery, glassware and plates are also provided. Sunlight comes into the sitting room and the villa has a very cosy and bright feel. The sitting room opens out onto the garden and pool. The villa has 3 cool, simple bedrooms, with new beds. The main bedroom has a king size double bed and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has a king size double bed, and the third bedroom has twin beds. These two bedrooms share a shower room. In addition there is a separate WC/cloakroom where there is also a washing machine. All the bed linen and towels are provided.
Outside
The newly landscaped garden has a pool surrounded by the sunbathing terrace, sun loungers, covered terrace for outdoor dining, where there is another table for 8. The owners have built a very impressive outdoor open barbecue by the dining terrace and it will be a joy to eat and socialise outdoors in this lovely, private garden.
