Overview
A newly restored 300 year old stone cottage just outside the small and beautiful town of Nin, 20km from Zadar. The area is famous for its long sandy beaches, which are among the most beautiful in Croatia. The town is an ancient seat of the Croatian kings a thousand years ago, and now it is a pleasant and peaceful place for summer holidays, famous for windsurfing and waterposrts. The new villa is located four kilometres from Nin, just over half a mile from a gorgeous sandy beach, and 20km from the regional largest town of Zadar, well worth visiting in its own right.
There are so many beaches in the area, some are wild and peaceful, and some are well set up for children's entertainment with water slides, pools and beachside cafes. The village has several restaurants and cafes, a market, grocery store and plenty of opportunity for water sports nearby. In addition, you can easily visit three major national parks, which are Krka river waterfalls, Kornati islands and Paklenica, all places of extraordinary natural beauty. The area is also ideal for walkers and cyclists. The villa is a stone cottage recently renovated.
Accommodation
The cottage has 90 square metres of living room and a small country garden. It is very charming and just half a mile from a fabulous sandy beach! It is surrounded by greenery and mature trees and has sea views from the upper terrace.
Ground floor
The ground floor has a pretty tiled floor, exposed stone walls and wood beams on the ceiling, just how it should be in a seaside cottage in Croatia. It is air-conditioned and comprises of a small sitting area equipped with satellite TV and a large country kitchen/diner in cream colour. There is a shower room and an adjacent terrace with a barbecue and outdoor table and chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, cooker, hob, coffee maker and all cooking utensils. Open the green wooden door onto the terrace and garden, you have a lovely view. This area is air-conditioned.
First floor
The first floor comprises of two simple double bedrooms, of which one has a double bed, and the other one a double and a single bed. The bedrooms open out onto a large balcony with sea view, table and chairs. All the bed linen and towels are provided.
Outside
The villa has a small and colourful cottage garden with flowers and vegetables. There is a BBQ and table for eating outside.
