Overview
A good, new, comfortable family child-friendly villa, just 6km away from a lovely, sandy beach and 30 min drive from one of the most beautiful Adriatic cities, Zadar. The villa is modern, but has retained one specific old feature of all Dalmatian houses- the wine cellar and kitchen with a huge open fireplace, where you can socialise and prepare old traditional Dalmatian food such as lamb in "peka", which is lamb baked in a large metal dish under hot coals. Do not panic, there is a smart second kitchen in the open plan living room, and the old traditional one is for parties! This villa is a great base for relaxation and exploration, but within an easy reach of everything, including some stunning national parks (Plitvice, Krka, Paklenica, Velebit). The centre of the village with shops, restaurants and cafes is 200 metres away and small children can have fun on slides and swings.
Accommodation
The villa is spacious, comprising 300 square metres of living space in a garden of 2500 square meters (over half an acre). There is air-conditioning in the living area and all accommodation is on the ground floor, including the 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The living room is tiled and furnished with 3 large sofas, and provides a satellite TV, DVD player, WiFi. The modern kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, cooker, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, cooking utensils and tableware. There is large dining table in the dining area. The bedrooms are provided with electric fans and all contain double beds and wardrobes. Two bathrooms contain showers, whilst the third bathroom has a bath tub and a washing machine. As the sitting room has a pull out sofa, extra 2 people can sleep, making it a villa for 12 people. All bed linen and towels are provided.
Outside
The villa has a large, fenced garden and a pool surrounded by a sunbathing platform and with deck chairs. There is plenty of grassy lawn for children to kick a ball around, and an area with swings and slides for the children. A covered pergola provides a nice shady spot for dining.
